ShulCloud Cloud-based solution that assists synagogues with accounting, member registration, donation tracking, website management

Project Purpose/Goals:
Create a Mobile Payments App to provide a means to rapidly collect and record payments at in-person events, including card present (reader, TTP). Increase the share of client payments processed on the ShulCloud platform. Permission based expose to users. Eg. volunteers, only the information required to collect and record payments at in-person events.

My Role:
Lead UI/UX Designer (solo)

Design Process

  • Meet and review ideations of general project scope with the project manager.
  • Consult on best way to approach project needs and expectations
  • Conduct user interviews
  • Distill users needs into project MVP’s and objectives
  • Create workflows
  • Make initial wireframes of the process and review them with stakeholders. Refine wireframes based on reviews.
  • Meet with developers to agree upon tech stack and design system
  • Create prototypes using React Native Material bread component design library. 
  • Review prototypes with managers and developers
  • Adjust prototypes based on timeline restrictions and phased execution.
  • Create documentation guides for developers and QA reference

Conducted interviews with 12 current clients to evaluate needs and analyzed responses to distill into product MVP’s that could make this project usable for a larger variety of clients.
